Flapwing Thumbnail Flapwing & The Last Work of Ezekiel Crumb  -  Writer / Director / Animator

An expressionistic science-fantasy (2005).

Suspended in the Half-Moon Laboratory, Ezekiel Crumb is inspired by the appearance of a butterfly. The scientist discovers that deriving energy from the sonorous emissions of mushrooms is not as easy as it sounds (or rather, is exactly as difficult as it sounds).
